Writing about your self is not easy . . . I could say many things: I'm a graphic designer, product designer, photographer, maker, engineer, writer, observer, collaborator . . .
I have had work exhibited here in New Zealand, Tokyo, Paris and Milan. I have worked on small projects and big projects, for people starting out and for organizations considered, well . . . even famous.
I have been the recipient of two 'Creative New Zealand' grants, have been fortunate to be invited to work in the IDÉE studio in Tokyo, and have a chair in the wonderful Saint Tropez home of French interior designer Frédéric Méchiche that he acquired from the Tools gallery in Paris.
I live in the South Pacific on a long Island, far from the rest of the world, one that can be both calm and wild – one where you can still find a beach with no one on it . . . and that makes it close to perfect.
